OUR HISTORY
Founded in 1997 with just 40 students, Colegio Gran Bretaña (CGB) began as a British school serving the children of expatriates. Since then, CGB has grown into one of Colombia’s most internationally diverse schools, welcoming over 390 students from 50 nationalities.
Over the past 27 years, CGB has become a fully accredited international school, authorised to offer the IB Diploma Programme and IGCSE, and recognised by prestigious organisations like CIS, NEASC, and LAHC. The school has continuously expanded its facilities and programmes to meet the needs of its multicultural community, introducing advanced curricula, new buildings, cutting-edge technology, and inclusive support for all learners. Today, CGB proudly prepares its graduates for success at top universities around the world.
