CGB offers a unique co-curricular programme.  Through creative timetabling, all students take part in our Co-Curricular activities during the school day.  Wall climbing, swimming, SCUBA diving, photography, French cooking and robotics are just a few of the activities on offer

Additionally, the CGB football, basketball, volleyball and rugby teams train during this time to prepare them for inter-collegiate competitions, as well as our inter-house events.  Through the Co-Curricular programme, balance is promoted, students are encouraged to move out of their comfort zone, experiment with something unknown and develop new interests.

CGB is a member of the Unión de Colegios Bilingües (UCB) and regularly competes in league sports tournaments.  All students belong to one of the four CGB Houses, which offer a range of events and opportunities for intra-school integration and competition.

CGB has a strong tradition in rugby and is a leader in school rugby competition both in locally and nationally.  The Alex Bjoroy Memorial Rugby Tournament, hosted by CGB, is held every March in honour of a former student who tragically lost his life at an early age.  This provides a wonderful opportunity for our teams of boys – and girls – to compete at a high level while living the philosophy behind this quintessentially British sport.
