Colegio Gran Bretaña is a co-educational international school where the medium of instruction is English as a first language.  The school ensures that class sizes are appropriate in order to provide the personal attention necessary to deliver a high quality educational programme.  The central pillar of the curriculum for early childhood, primary and secondary students is the National Curriculum of England and Wales, with adaptations to meet the requirements of the Colombian National Curriculum.  The school also provides Spanish language tuition to all its students and offers selected courses to help students meet the requirements for a U.S. High School Diploma.  The school embraces the ideal of a truly international education, promoting intellectual rigour as well as the ideals of international understanding and responsible citizenship.
