Meals are provided by a local catering establishment of high repute, and menus are devised by a nutritionist to provide a balanced diet that appeals to children. There is a daily salad bar, and students also enjoy snacks and juices at morning breaks and at the finish of after school clubs.
The school aims to encourage healthy eating by providing a nutritionally balanced menu. A vegetarian menu is available. The daily menu is sent home at the start of each month. It is the policy of the school to encourage students to eat and try various foods. This is promoted by modelling and discussion rather than by imposition. Sandwiches can be requested by students in addition to the set lunch.
Nursery children receive a morning snack, lunch and an afternoon snack. The remainder of the students receive a morning snack and mid-day lunch. An additional snack is provided to those students who attend after-schol activities.
Students should not bring their own food to school unless they have a special dietary requirement, which has been discussed with, and authorised by, the Director.
