Comments from some of our teachers and parents about this day:
"For me, Dia de la Raza is one of the most significant days of the year for CGB. This day captures the essence of what CGB stands for. An international school with people from all over the world sharing and learning from each other in a harmonious environment. It is a day where the entire community celebrates together and demonstrates what a close knit family we are here at CGB."

To me, Dia de la Raza is an event to celebrate as a whole community, under the same flag and to conmemorate various multicultural visions among our community. We show that there are no frontiers between humans when we are open to learn from the wonders of all the countries in the world. I would like to especially thank Beatriz Vergara, the event's organiser, for promoting this magical activity.

Día de la Raza lets us experience and learn about so many peoples and countries that we may not ever have the luxury of traveling to. Not only during our celebration day but during the weeks of preparation we are excited to hear about the other countries plans to show their customs and costumes. My favorite part is the opportunity to taste the amazingly delicious traditional foods and talk to the other families about the ingredients, preparation of the dishes and the meanings and customs behind their Country's culinary cuisine.
Thank you so much for this inspiring opportunity to experience Día de la Raza at CGB.

"Dia de la Raza was an amazing day and it is going to be one of the most memorable days of my life. I looked around and saw many beautiful people from all over the world. We celebrated the different countries and cultures we all came from and we cherished each other's difference. I was the only person from Turkey but I never felt alone."

This festivity celebrates all the countries' festivities in one. To talk about Dia de la Raza is to talk about mithology, memories and traditions of many towns and countries. On that day, many students, parents and teachers representing their country show its general profile, which is full of customs while the rest of the school learn new things about each country.
Dia de la Raza celebration is the most authentic and joyful expression of everyone's background.
