Care Give and Believe Banquet

This year’s Care Give and Believe Banquet was held on Friday 16^th November 2007.

This has become an annual event organized by the Charity Committee as part of our fund-raising project to raise money for Cazuca. Cazuca is an area in South Bogota made up predominantly of Colombians displaced by violence in other areas of the country. CGB has offered assistance to the community including supporting the development of the local school and setting up a bakery that benefits the community. We are trying to buy land adjourning the school to build a basketball court and football pitch. 

Plenty of teachers, staff and students performed a wide ranging talent show to entertain the audience. Through ticket sales and raffle ticket sales, CGB raised about COP$3,800,000 pesos for this worthy cause.
