Application Process

All candidates are expected to present an admission test, and both parents must be interviewed by the School Psychologist. Once the application forms and supporting documents have been submitted to the Admission Office, an appointment for student/parent interviews and testing at the school will be scheduled on a Monday or Tuesday morning.
Children applying to Nursery, Reception and Year 1 will not take a formal admission test, but will be evaluated and observed while participating in a variety of activities.

Application Forms and Documents

The following documents must be provided a week before the Admission Process takes place. Only complete applications will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee.

A fee of $100,000 COP is charged for each test or evaluation.

1.  Student’s photograph (document size)
2.  Whole family photograph (any size)
3.  Completed REGISTRATION FORM
4.  CONFIDENTIAL STUDENT REFERENCE REPORT to be completed by the child’s actual teachers
5.  Completed D.E.N. QUESTIONNAIRE (English) /  CUESTIONARIO D.E.N. (Spanish)
6.  Student´s birth certificate or ID
7.  Student´s photocopy of the information page from the student´s passport and valid visa for non-Colombians
8.  Parent´s bank reference, income certificate or company letter
9.  Receipt for $50USD or $100,000 cop, issued by the school’s accountancy office. (Admissions Fee)
10.  MEDICAL FORM ENGLISH, (signed by a physician) / FORMATO MEDICO ESPAÑOL (firmado por pediatra)
11. Report Cards:
            If applying to Nursery and Reception – Preschool Reports
            If applying to Year 1- Year 8 – Last three years of schooling.
            If applying to Year 9 and above – Official Sealed Transcripts

Families arriving from abroad

Enrolment is available throughout the year for eligible candidates arriving from abroad.
For families arriving only until the month of August 2012, admissions will be held from the 8th to the 14th August 2012. However, space availability must be confirmed. Please complete the INQUIRY FORM and contact the admissions officer for additional information admissions@cgb.edu.co

Enrolment Process

A decision about admission will be made by the Admission Committee and will be sent by e-mail when all documents have been received, interviews have been conducted and testing has been completed.

Once admitted, the registration process should take place as soon as possible. Spaces will not be held. Registration and payment procedures will be sent by e-mail. All students must be registered before they are allowed to attend class.
